LSAC Professional Development Subsidies for Prelaw Advisors of up to $600

The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) offers subsidies of up to $600 to pre-law advisors at under-resourced institutions who are registered with LSAC as a pre-law advisor. These subsidies are intended to facilitate the professional development of pre-law advisors who face financial limitations but still need knowledge, skills, strategies, and community to serve prospective law students. They can be used toward attending professional development opportunities such as the PLANC Quadrennial Conference, regional APLA conferences, or LSAC-sponsored events. Typically, only one subsidy request will be approved per institution per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30), but funds may be split between multiple pre-law advisors at a single institution. The annual limit of $600 applies to the institution and not the individual.

If you have any questions, please contact Sue Trimble, Pre-Law Advising Community Specialist at LSAC, at strimble@LSAC.org.

You can also find this information in the Prelaw Advisor Legacy Dashboard under the "Events & Recruitment" tile. There, you will find a link on the left labeled "Professional Development Subsidies." )
